OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Crews responded Monday to a fatal South Omaha house fire that killed one. Officials were called to a house near South 41st and Monroe Streets at 3:12 p.m. A release says that crews saw heavy smoke from several blocks away. They spotted smoke and flames from the house and got it under control in under 10 minutes.
