Omaha man accused in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run changes plea

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man facing charges in an hit-and-run pedestrian crash that left a woman dead in June changed his plea on Wednesday. Davon Barnes of Omaha entered a “no contest” plea on Wednesday to leaving the scene of a serious injury crash, a Class 3 felony. He was formally charged with failure to stop and render aid, resulting in death.
