Police are investigating after an accidental shooting Sunday at a North Omaha home that left a 6-year-old girl dead. Alonni Barfield, 6, was found with a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital in critical condition. She later died. Officials found that more children were inside the house at the time of the shooting. They are now wards of the state.
