Trial for suspect in murder of Fort Calhoun woman moved up two months

FORT CALHOUN, Neb. (WOWT) – A man accused of murdering an elderly woman in a small Nebraska town last year will go to trial earlier than expected. William Collins, 31, appeared before Washington County District Court Judge Bryan Meismer, who moved Collins’ trial up to January 13 – less than a month away. It had originally been scheduled to start March 24.
