Omaha man accused in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run changes plea

OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) – A man charged with a hit-and-run pedestrian collision that killed a lady in June changed his plea on Wednesday. Davon Barnes of Omaha pleaded “no contest” on Wednesday to leaving the scene of a severe injury collision, a Class 3 felony. He was legally accused with failing to stop and give help, which resulted in death.
