OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A growing number of women are choosing to work in the construction industry. One Metro group is hoping to inspire the next generation to do the same.
According to The U.S. Department of Commerce, about one in seven jobs in construction go to women. Those workers make up just over 14 percent of the industry.
