Omaha man accused of planting bomb at prison dead in Montana shootout

Big Timber, Montana — An Omaha man charged with placing a faulty bomb under a captain’s pickup truck at the Tecumseh State Correctional Facility is dead following a shootout with law enforcement in Montana.

According to an arrest affidavit, around 10:30 a.m. April 1, two employees at the Tecumseh State Correctional Facility observed a grey pickup truck – later determined to be driven by 27-year-old Breighton Miller – had two propane tanks underneath its back end, with one of the valves opened with a spent road flare next to it.
