4 in custody after robbery investigation leads to discovery of drugs, guns inside northwest Omaha home

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Four people are behind bars after a robbery arrest led to a search warrant and the discovery of drugs inside a northwest Omaha home.

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hotel near 103rd Street and Blair High Road for a report of domestic violence related to an armed robbery. While investigating, deputies learned that the suspect was located at a home in a neighborhood near 156th and Ida Street.

When they arrived at that residence, deputies report that they found the robbery suspect — 29-year-old Derrick McNamara — in the backyard…
