Nebraska softball breaks Bowlin Stadium attendance record in win over Indiana

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – No. 18 Nebraska evened its weekend series against Indiana with a 12-4 win in five innings Saturday at Bowlin Stadium in front of a record crowd of 2,699 fans — the largest in program history.

With the win, the Huskers improved to 33-11 overall and 12-4 in Big Ten play. Indiana fell to 29-13 (8-8 Big Ten).

Samantha Bland led the Huskers’ offense with four RBI on two hits. Nebraska outhit the Hoosiers 13-7 and went 8-for-19 with runners in scoring position. Eight different Huskers recorded hits, with four posting multi-hit games. Kacie Hoffmann finished 3-for-3, while Ava Kuszak, Ava Bredwell and Hannah Camenzind each added two hits…
