Warren Buffett, the so-called Oracle of Omaha, officially announced his retirement this weekend, but not without first using his platform to speak directly to the American people.
At 94, Buffett stood before thousands of shareholders at Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting in Omaha and delivered more than just corporate updates, according to NPR. He offered a warning: America’s trade war could backfire.
“Trade should not be a weapon,” Buffett said, drawing applause from the crowd.
