Teens arrested in Westroads Mall carjacking investigation

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Police said Wednesday that two suspects are in custody — one of them in Lincoln — after a 91-year-old man reported being carjacked at Westroads Mall last week.

OPD said Dhevan Phillips-Mills, 18, was arrested in Lincoln with help from the city’s Fugitive Task Force, according to a Wednesday news release. He was booked into Lancaster County Corrections on robbery charges.

OPD also said in the update that they had arrested a 17-year-old suspect on Monday.

The arrests come more than a week after the elderly man says he was robbed and assaulted at the Westroads Mall…
