(Council Bluffs) — Thomas Jefferson senior Nathan Anderson is coming off a monster week and is hopeful for a few more like it as he enters the final couple of weeks of his track & field career.
“It’s definitely gone better than I expected,” Anderson said on Wednesday’s Upon Further Review. “Going into the season, I wasn’t expecting to be as successful as I have been. We’re seeing the times progress throughout the season and seeing how fast they’re getting and where I rank. It’s really boosting my confidence heading into the postseason.”
Anderson has flexed its muscles in the sprints this year. He won six golds across two meets last week to earn the latest Jim Hughes Real Estate KMAland Male Athlete of the Week honor. He opened his week in Glenwood on Tuesday by winning the 200 and 400 in respective times of 22.59 and 49.52…
