20 years later: CFAM is still kicking it!

On Wednesday, April 23, the college of communication, fine arts and media closed out its 20 year anniversary at the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bang. During a time when the arts seem to be attacked at every corner, a reminder of the importance of the arts and the shared love for them was shown through this anniversary event.

Almost bursting out of the doors, people were packed shoulder to shoulder in the Strauss Performing Arts Center lobby waiting for the event to begin. Guests gorged themselves on brownies and elaborate fruit platters. The event asked for black-tie attire and under the buzz of the crowd, Mav Radio was at one end of the lobby interviewing VIPs. At the other end, artwork from students in the college was displayed for people to look at while they waited…
