I recently had ice cream that was so good, the line winds around outside at this creamery that dubs itself “farm to cone” with flavors that are sourced with local ingredients.

This place was chosen simply on a whim and not on the apparently strong reputation that it has among the locals in Omaha for great ice cream. As I waited in line while reading the ingredients aloud and thinking I might go for Tart Cherry Crumble ice cream, a woman who was standing in front of me while we were still waiting in line outside said that that was her favorite flavor.
“Tart Cherry Crumble?” I repeated.
“Yes”, she replied definitively with a huge smile. One of the women who was with her said that this place has the best ice cream…
