Light the Night: Water Lantern Festival Returns
There’s nothing like a movie night under the stars at Bellevue’s Prepare for the photo op—one of the most peaceful, picturesque nights of summer is back this weekend. The Water Lantern Festival takes over Gene Leahy Mall this Saturday, June 29, offering live music, food trucks, and a glowing sendoff as participants release personalized lanterns into the water at sunset.
After-Hours Adventures at the Zoo
The animals aren’t the only ones staying up late. Late Nights at the Zoo is back at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo on select Thursdays (next up: June 26) for guests 21 and older. Sip cocktails, play lawn games, explore select exhibits, and shop local vendors at the new “Zoo-tique” market. Add in food trucks and music bingo, and you’ve got a summer evening that’s anything but tame.
