OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – On Friday, a group of protestors called for the termination of Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Vail. Vail was hired there after being fired from the Omaha Police Department.
Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer found Vail violated department protocol when he shot and killed 37-year-old Cameron Form while serving a no knock warrant on Aug. 28 last year.
Officer Vail was with OPD and Federal authorities searching for firearms and narcotics when they entered the residence of Cameron Ford. Ford was unarmed at the time of the shooting and Vail said that Ford charged at him…
