OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Here’s a list of activities and events coming up in the Omaha metro this weekend.
The City of Omaha’s annual event — the Memorial Park Concert — is finally almost here. Friday night, Ringo Starr, one of The Beatles, is the headliner of the event with his All-Star Band. The concert, which is free to the public. The show begins with The National Anthem at 6:30 p.m. Friday, followed by a performance of Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs. Starr will take the stage around 8:30 p.m. After the concert, stay for the firework show finale. Metro plans to provide extra ORBT buses to take people to and from the event.
Omaha’s Durham Museum is celebrating 50 years of operation with a Free Admission Day on Saturday. Along with free admission, the Durham says they will have live music, “throwback” prices on food items, and more. The event will go from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday.
