BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) – A 60-year-old man who was reported missing and being searched for by authorities has been found deceased.
Furmain Bicaba of Blair was reported missing at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday. At about 6 p.m., the Blair Police Department reported he had been found and shared condolences to his family and loved ones.
Family said he left a suicide note behind when he left home at about 5:30 a.m. Cell phone data led authorities to believe he last been seen somewhere near the Blair Optimist River Park boat ramp. Investigators said they had obtained security footage showing Bicaba walking near there at about 6:10 a.m.
Officers searched the area on foot, in boats, and with drones, but haven’t been able to locate Bicaba. He who is described as a 6-foot tall Black man, weighing about 160 pounds; and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt with “Cabela’s” written on it…
