LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Plattsmouth man is facing four felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder, after authorities say he fired a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in Sarpy County.
According to court documents, a Bellevue police officer responded to a report of an armed man near Highway 75 and Cornhusker Road around 8:45 p.m. on July 2. A man reported that another driver had shot at him during a road rage confrontation.
The victim told officers he was entering Highway 75 from Q Street in a red pickup when a gray Chevrolet pickup approached at high speed from behind. He said the gray truck attempted to squeeze between his vehicle and another car, forcing him to swerve to avoid a crash. The driver of the gray truck then continued to follow him southbound on the highway…
