2 MS-13 gang members arrested in Nebraska, officials report

OMAHA, Neb. (KCAU) — Officials with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 2 members of the MS-13 gang on Wednesday.

ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested a MS-13 kingpin who’s listed among El Salvador’s top 100 most wanted fugitives. His name has not been released at this time.

Authorities said the Salvadoran national is a criminal alien wanted on multiple charges:

  • Aggravated homicides of five people
  • Attempted aggravated homicide
  • Deprivation of liberty
  • Terrorist organization affiliation

The MS-13 kingpin was arrested on July 9 alongside his associate and roommate, Rene Saul Escobar Ochoa, 30, who’s also in the U.S. illegally. Officials said Ochoa is a known MS-13 gang member and foreign terrorist who’s wanted in El Salvador…
