OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – As the United States approaches its 250th birthday, a historic site in downtown Omaha is capturing moments that shaped the nation — one statue at a time.
Pioneer Courage Park, once an empty parking lot, now spans six city blocks and features more than 100 life-size sculptures.
“It’s emotional to think this is what I’ve been doing for this long,” said Blair Buswell, one of three sculpture artists working on the park. “They said, we want the edge of the frontier, we want the wildlife, and here you go.”…
