Power outage in South Omaha due to burnt-out switch, OPPD says

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Omaha Public Power District says a power outage in South Omaha is due to a burnt out switch.

According to OPPD, the outage is affecting around 1,600 customers in the area.

OPPD said they were able to restore power to 80 customers, and hopes to have power restored to the area by 4:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen developments…
