OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nebraska Extension gets $2 million in federal funds each year, but after the passage of the “Big Beautiful Bill,” it’s all going away.
Since 1992, the Nebraska Extension office has educated the state’s recipients eligible for the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, known as SNAP, on how to stay healthy through the federally funded SNAP-Ed program.
