Douglas County Wildfire Contained; No Homes Lost Thanks to Quick Response by Fire Crews

Yesterday, residents were urgently ushered away from their homes as a brush fire swept through Bears Den Drive, prompting immediate evacuations. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, through a social media post, confirmed the evacuation of four homes in the face of the blaze. The emergent situation called for a response from multiple agencies, including South Metro, Jackson 105 Fire, Castle Rock Fire, and West Douglas Fire Protection, as they took on both the wildfire and the task of protecting the imperiled structures.
