Omaha, Nebraska – Residents across eastern Nebraska should brace for another round of severe thunderstorms between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 3 a.m. Wednesday, with damaging winds and localized flooding among the primary threats.
According to the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley, there’s an 80% chance of thunderstorms and a 25% chance they will reach severe levels. The most at-risk areas include Lincoln, Norfolk, and Omaha, where Level 2 on the local threat scale has been issued. Storms may produce wind gusts near 70 mph and hail up to 1 inch in diameter.
