One person is injured after a crash early Friday in North Omaha. Just before 2 a.m. Friday, Omaha police officers were called to the crash near 24th and Ohio streets. Police dispatch tells us initial reports show the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The state fire marshal says a horrific explosion Tuesday at a Fremont biofuels plant that left a man and two girls dead started with a dust fire — and was an accident. The bodies of 32-year-old Dylan D. Danielson of Columbus, Neb., and his two young daughters, were recovered at Horizon Biofuels on Wednesday. By law, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) must complete a separate investigation within six months…
