Douglas County Sheriff Street Racing Crackdown

On “X,” Deputies say what started as classic road rage at 204th & West Dodge ended up with what they call a pedal-to-the-metal race down 204th Street, where a CAT deputy was waiting.

The Sheriff says both drivers, 56- year-old Robert Weis and 21- year-old Bradyn Hinderks, were arrested, accused of exhibition of speed.

Also, on “X,” The Sheriff’s Office says, Wednesday night, a Deputy in an unmarked cruiser saw an Audi RS7 quickly approaching him from behind at a high rate of speed, swerving around other traffic, going north on 168th Street.

The Audi cut in front of the Deputy as they came to a stop at the light at West Maple, with a Mustang pulled up next to them and the engine revving…
