A storm packing winds as high as 90 miles per hour blew through eastern Nebraska early Saturday morning, downing trees and leaving tens of thousands without power. One person was killed at a state park near Omaha.
The National Weather Service said the Lincoln Airport recorded a 91-mile-per-hour wind gust. There also was a 91-mph gust recorded near Fairmont, in Fillmore County.
