A child and young adult were killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday at Pacific and I-680 in Omaha. Police say a 10 year old and 18 year old died at the scene when the SUV they were in was struck by a westbound pickup truck as their vehicle attempted to turn left onto the northbound 680 on-ramp from eastbound Pacific Street.
According to police the impact send the SUV careening down the embankment until it hit a large light pole while traveling backwards.
There were seven people in the SUV, two adults, both 37, one teen, 17, and two younger children, 12, and 6. They were all transported to area hospitals with serious injuries…
