This weekend I went flew to Nashville to go to the Broadway Block Party and watch Husker volleyball. The trip started off on a sour note as we boarded the plane in Omaha on Saturday morning and then had to sit on the plane through nearly five hours of delays as Dallas encountered storms. Then when we landed in Dallas that plane was also delayed as all planes coming into Dallas had been stalled. We were supposed to arrive in Nashville at 2:30 and ended up getting there closer to 8:00.
Luckily we were able to enjoy ourselves that night and had plenty of time before the game on Sunday. It was an amazing game to be at, although very stressful for the first two sets.
First of all, Kentucky has a really good team. Brooklyn Deleye and Eva Hudson are so good and Kentucky’s defense was picking up everything. It felt like Deleye was serving every other time…
