Omaha cyclists applaud 108th St road diet while neighbors question changes

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A section of 108th Street, north of Maple Street, has undergone some major change to its layout. Some people who live nearby wondered why the city made this change.

Austin Rowser with Omaha Public Works told First Alert 6 the main reason was safety.

What once was a four lane road is now two lanes in each direction, and there are bike lanes on either side…
