OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A student at Westview High School was arrested Friday after driving erratically in the parking lot and fleeing from an officer, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The student, age 17, was spotted driving erratically in the parking lot of the school and adjacent YMCA at about 8:52 a.m., authorities said.
Because of the risk being posed to others, the DCSO school resource officer “attempted to de-escalate the student in order to gain compliance,” the report reads…
