Coyotes fall to Bluejays in Omaha

Omaha, Neb. (USD) — South Dakota women’s soccer fell 4-0 to Creighton on Sunday afternoon in Omaha, as the Coyotes were unable to slow down a well-balanced Bluejay attack.

Creighton struck first in the 26th minute when Olivia Duray found the back of the net, assisted by Ariana Mondiri to give the Bluejays an early 1-0 lead. The scoreline held through the remainder of the first half.

Just over a minute into the second half, Mondiri doubled Creighton’s advantage with a goal in the 47th minute, assisted by Mallory Connealy and Ella Offer. Creighton would go on to add two more late goals — Anna Bragg in the 80th minute, assisted by Brynn Gardner, and Kennedy Moore in the 89th minute off a setup by Sarah Hyde — to seal the 4-0 result…
