Livingston County crash on Highway 36 injures Nebraska man

A crash in Livingston County Sunday evening injured a Nebraska man after his vehicle struck a highway sign.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025, on Highway 36 at Livingston County Route 408, about three miles north of Ludlow.

The patrol reported that a 2024 Kia driven by a 20-year-old man from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was westbound on Highway 36 when he attempted to pass a semi. The driver lost control of the car, which struck a Missouri Department of Transportation sign before traveling off the west side of the roadway.
