OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Neighbors in North Omaha are growing increasingly concerned about a homeless encampment near 28th and Pinkney, saying it’s affecting safety, property, and quality of life.
City Councilwoman LaVonya Goodwin said she was surprised by how many people she saw living under dense tree cover and how close they were to homes.
