Two men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a house fire that followed a 21st birthday party nearly a decade ago in south central Iowa.
“The investigation in 2006 was closed and the fire was ruled undetermined at that time. Recently, new information was brought forward alleging the fire was intentionally set by individuals involved in a physical altercation at the residence,” Special Agent Mike Motsinger of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation announced Friday during a news conference in Ottumwa.
