Glenwood’s 25-point comeback snaps eight-game losing streak to Lewis Central

(Glenwood) – Glenwood’s largest deficit was 25 points, when Lewis Central led 31-6 in the second quarter. Glenwood gained back the momentum and kept the gas on the pedal, outscoring Lewis Central 35-7 the rest of the game in a 41-38 win, snapping an eight-game losing streak to their district rival.

Head Coach Cory Faust and his staff made their adjustments, and really kept it simple on their way to the comeback, winning the line of scrimmage that lead to an explosive rushing night for Scott Reed (30 rushes for 244 yards and three touchdowns).

“Just hang in there, control the things we can control,” Faust said. “That’s really been our focus. Credit Lewis Central — they had us off balance early on. But we made some adjustments there.”…
