Firefighters extinguish North Omaha house fire in under 5 minutes, OFD says

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Crews with the Omaha Fire Department quickly put out a house fire on Saturday.

Firefighters were called to to the blaze in a home near 37th and Ida streets in North Omaha just before 3 p.m. Saturday.

When OFD crews arrived, they found the fire was in a back room on the main floor of the home. According to a report sent Monday, the fire was put out in four minutes…
