This Day in History – October 4: Grand Island, Lincoln get H1N1 Vaccines

October 4, 2009 – The first shipments of the H1N1 vaccine arrived in Nebraska. Grand Island and Omaha got doses first, then Lincoln.

The 2009 H1N1 pandemic impacted more than 60 million people and killed more than 12,000 in the United States.
