OMAHA, NEBRASKA — A 38-year-old father of four was fatally stabbed at his home south of Benson Park late Monday night, and a 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with his death.
Police identified the victim as Christopher J. Jackson of Omaha, who died after suffering a stab wound to the chest during a disturbance at his residence, located at 6602 Emmet Street.
Police Respond Late Monday Night
According to the Omaha Police Department, officers were called to the home around 11:15 p.m. after reports of an altercation. Paramedics with the Omaha Fire Department transported Jackson to the Nebraska Medical Center with lifesaving measures in progress, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
The 14-year-old suspect has been booked on suspicion of second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Authorities have not released the suspect’s name due to his age.
