Bellevue Man Accused of Enticing Minor Set to Face Judge in Sarpy County Court

BELLEVUE, NEBRASKA — A Bellevue man accused of enticing a minor is set to make his first court appearance Wednesday morning after being arrested earlier this week.

Police identified the suspect as Daniel Munoz, who was taken into custody Monday and is currently being held at the Sarpy County Jail.

Accusations Involving Teen Victim

According to an arrest affidavit, the alleged crime occurred in August 2024. Investigators say the victim’s mother contacted police after her 15-year-old daughter received disturbing messages from an unknown phone number demanding that she send explicit videos.

The messages reportedly threatened to expose the teen’s prior shoplifting incident in Papillion unless she complied. Police say the suspect used the threat of public embarrassment to coerce the minor into producing obscene material.

Court Appearance Scheduled
