Greyhound restarts bus routes in Nebraska

After more than a decade out of the state, Greyhound has resumed bus service in Nebraska.

Last month, the nation’s largest intercity bus service provider added several new stops along its Chicago-to-Denver route, including Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island and Lexington.

Greyhound, which is now a subsidiary of German bus operator Flix, added the stops after Burlington Trailways closed down its intercity bus service to focus on charter service. Burlington, coincidentally, had started the Nebraska routes after Greyhound left…
