RALSTON, Neb. (KMTV) – “We really don’t want that happening especially to something that we just remodeled and reopened for the enjoyment of the community,” Jack Cheloha, city administrator said.
- Security footage shows children dumping dirt on the new playground surface and basketball court, throwing rocks at equipment, and scraping paint off poles.
- The Ralston Police Department has identified some of the children responsible and is considering making parents pay for damages or requiring those involved to participate in park cleanups.
- A new camera will be installed at Adams Park next week.
