‘No looking back’: Teen who broke both legs in car crash returns to cross country

MURDOCK, Neb. (WOWT/Gray News) – Ten months after a devastating car crash that left a Nebraska teenager with two broken legs, he is competing on his high school cross country team and surprising a lot of people.

Jase Bornemeier and his older sister, Dylan, were driving to school last December when their car hit black ice on a curve, leading to a head-on collision and devastating injuries for both siblings.
