Bronze letters stolen from Omaha National Cemetery entrance

PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) – Most of the bronze and brass letters have been stolen from the entrance sign at Omaha National Cemetery, leaving only four of the original 21 letters that spelled out the cemetery’s name.

Papillion Police responded to a theft call at the cemetery on Oct. 29. The cemetery director told police someone had removed the cast metal letters and V.A. seal from the entrance.
