Omaha man sentenced to 17 1/2 years for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – An Omaha man was sentenced on Thursday to 17 and a half years for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

According to the Department of Justice, 42-year-old Javier Jasso of Omaha was sentenced in federal court in Lincoln for one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

A United States district judge sentenced Jasso to a total of 210 months’ imprisonment. After Jasso’s release from prison, he will begin a 5-year term of supervised release…
