Suspect in shooting at northwest Omaha movie theater changes plea

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man accused of shooting at a northwest Omaha movie theater in May has changed his plea during a court appearance on Tuesday.

Rashaun Carodine, 20, has now pleaded no contest to a charge of 2nd degree assault (changed from 1st degree assault).

The maximum sentence he now faces is 20 years rather than 50 years…
