BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Hansen-Mueller Company, a nationwide commodity trading and logistics company that specializes in grain, oilseeds, and feed ingredients, announced in November that it is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
This could affect North Dakota producers owed money by the company, the North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) says.
“Every producer who is owed money by Hansen-Mueller should be receiving notification from the bankruptcy court that they are a claimant and need to file a claim,” North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said in a press release, urging producers to file claims. “We understand the producer’s frustration and are here to provide clear information to help those affected.”…
