OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A parent has raised safety concerns about icy sidewalks near Monroe Middle and Benson High schools after recent snow and cold weather created slippery conditions for students.
Marcella Zoucha said her daughters and other children use the sidewalk daily and she picks them up after school in the area. Recent snow and bitter cold turned the walkway into what she described as an ice rink.
