Man arrested after thousands of dollars of construction equipment found in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The suspect in the theft of thousands of dollars of stolen equipment was arrested on Monday.

Christopher Batter, 50, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, theft by receiving a stolen item worth more than $5,000, and a violation of probation.

The stolen equipment, concrete buggies worth $12,000 each, were found with the help of GPS tracking devices by Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies…
